II. Are you afraid of what man can do to you?

    A. Afraid of what they might say. John 12:42-43

        1. Obey God first. Acts 4:18-20

    B. The Lord is on our side. Psalms 118:6-8

    C. Keep his word and be not afraid of sleep. Proverbs 3:21-26

    D. "For I am with thee". Isaiah 41:10

        1. In prayer. Matthew 18:19-20

        2. In service. Matthew 28:18-20

        3. In unity in the local church. Ephesians 2:20-22

    E. "For I am thy God". Isaiah 41:10

        1. You are God's children. Romans 8:14-18

        2. We are in his hand. John 10:27-30

    F. "I will strengthen thee". Isaiah 41:10

        1. God's grace is sufficient. 2 Corinthians 12:9-10

    G. "I will help thee". Isaiah 41:10

        1. The Lord is my helper. Hebrews 13:5-6

III. Are you afraid of nature?

    A. Afraid of the storms? Isaiah 43:1-2

IV. Trust in God and be not afraid. 2 Timothy 1:7

    A. Jesus paid the price. Hebrews 2:14-15

    B. Confess Jesus as Lord. Romans 10:9-10
