1 Corinthians 2:14-3:3 -- FBC, Ada

I. Are you a natural person? 1 Corinthians 2:14

    A. You will not receive the Word.

    B. The Bible is foolish.

    C. You cannot understand it.

    D. You are condemned already. John 3:18

    E. Under sin. Galatians 3:22

    F. Without hope. Ephesians 2:11-12

II. Are you a spiritual person? 1 Corinthians 2:15-16

    A. Are you led by the Spirit? Romans 8:9-14

    B. Are you seeking those things of God? Colossians 3:1-3

    C. Do you have the fruit of Holy Spirit? Galatians 5:22-25

    D. Can you say Jesus is Lord? 1 Corinthians 12:3

III. Are you a carnal person? 1 Corinthians 3:1-3

    A. You are still a babe in Christ? 1 Corinthians 3:1

    B. Can you take sound doctrine? 1 Corinthians 3:2

    C. Do you have envy, strife, & divisions? 1 Corinthians 3:3

    D. Are you against the work of God? Romans 8:5-8

IV. Which are you?

    A. The natural person that is lost.

    B. The spiritual person that is saved.

    C. The carnal person that is either.... A lost person trying to be spiritual by works or a saved person that still is a baby..

    D. But the carnal person stands in the way of a natural person becoming a spiritual.
