I. The second coming is not the rapture.

    A. At the rapture, Jesus comes as a thief in the night 1 Thessalonians 5:1-3

    B. At the second coming, he is seen. Acts 1:9-11

        1. Everyone sees him. Revelation 1:7

    C. The glory of his power. 2 Thessalonians 1:10

    D. Appear with him in glory. Colossians 3:4

    E. Reign with him in glory. Revelation 5:9-10

        1. For 1,000 years Revelation 20:5-6, Isaiah 11:6-9, 65:20-25

       2. Beat swords into plowshares. Isaiah 2:2-4

II. At the second coming of Jesus, will be:

    A. Jesus does not come to save but to judge. Revelation 19:11-14

        1. The battle of Armageddon. Revelation 19:15-21

    B. The judgment of nations. Matthew 25:31-33

    C. Vengeance on them that know not God. 2 Thessalonians 1:7-9

III. Now is the day of salvation. 2 Corinthians 6:2

    A. Are you saved? Ro. 10:9-10
