Leviticus 23:1-2 --- FBC, Ada

I. There are seven (7) feasts of the lord to be observed in order. Lev. 23:1-2

II. These seven feasts are feasts of prophecy about Jesus. 1 Cor. 15:3-4

    A. 1st Feast of the Passover. Leviticus 23:4-5

        1. Fourteenth day of the first month. Leviticus 23:5

        2. Put the blood of a lamb on the door posts. Exodus 12:7

        3. When I see the Blood on the door posts, I will pass over. Exodus 12:23-24

        4. Jesus is the Passover Lamb. 1 Corinthians 5:7

        5. Jesus was crucified on the Passover. John 19:14

    B. 2nd Feast of Unleavened Bread. Leviticus 23:6-7

        1. About the body and burial of Jesus.

        2. First day of the Feast is a High Day – Sabbath. John 19:31

        3. Jesus would be three days and three nights in the earth. Mat. 12:40

    C. 3rd Feast of Firstfruits. Leviticus 23:10-11

        1. Christ the firstfruits 1 Corinthians 15:20-23

        2. Resurrection of Jesus according to the scriptures. 1 Cor. 15:3-4

    D. 4th Feast of Pentecost. Leviticus 23:15-16

        1. Power of the holy spirit to witness. Acts 1:8

        2. On the day of Pentecost. Acts 2:1-4

        3. Three thousand souls were saved. Acts 2:41

    E. 5th Feast of Trumpets. Leviticus 23:24

        1. The Rapture. 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17

        2. There is a pause between Pentecost and the Trumpets. 2 Pet. 3:8-9, 15

    F. 6th Feast of Atonement. Leviticus 23:27

        1. Tribulation period. Matthew 24:21-22

    G. 7th Feast of Tabernacles. Leviticus 23:34

        1. 2nd Coming of Christ. Revelation 19:11-16

        1. 1,000-year reign of Jesus. Revelation 20:1-6
