Burial and Resurrection of Christ, 2-3 Feasts.


The seven Feasts of the Lord outline the events from the crucifixion of Christ to the thousand years Reign of Christ.

*1. Crucifixion of Christ- Feast of the Passover

*2. Burial of Christ- Feast of Unleavened Bread

*3. Resurrection of Christ– Feast of Firstfruits

*4. Power of Holy Spirit in the churches- Feast of Pentecost

*5. Rapture- Feast of Trumpets

*6. Tribulation Period- Feast of Atonement

*7. Thousand years Reign of Christ on Earth- Feast of Tabernacle


Second Feast

1. The second feast is the Feast of  Bread.  

Leviticus 23:6 And on the fifteenth day of the same month is the feast of unleavened bread unto the LORD: seven days ye must eat unleavened bread.

2. Leaven is a type of  and  which is sin.

      1 Corinthians 5:8 Therefore let us keep the feast, not with old leaven, neither with the leaven of malice and wickedness; but with the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth.

        for all.  

Hebrews 10:10 By the which will we are sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all.

The body of Jesus was buried on the Feast of Unleavened Bread.

Third Feast

7. The third feast of the Lord is the Feast of the .  

 Leviticus 23:10 Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, When ye be come into the land which I give unto you, and shall reap the harvest thereof, then ye shall bring a sheaf of the firstfruits of your harvest unto the priest:

8. The Feast of the Firstfruits was celebrated each year  after the Passover started.  Choose one of the Following. 

Leviticus 23:11 And he shall wave the sheaf before the LORD, to be accepted for you: on the morrow after the sabbath the priest shall wave it.)
