Genesis 47

Romans 8:28

I. Joseph presents his father and brothers to Pharaoh. Vs. 1-10

    A. Pharaoh orders them to live in the best of the land of Goshen. Vs. 1-6

    B. Israel blesses Pharaoh. Vs. 7-10

    C. Israel is 130 years old. Vs. 9

II. Joseph provides for his father and brothers. Vs. 11-12

III. Joseph sells and trades the stored corn in Egypt. Vs. 14

    A. Joseph sold the stored corn for all the money in Egypt and Canaan. Vs. 14

    B. Joseph traded the stored corn for all the livestock in Egypt and Canaan. Vs. 15-17

    C. Joseph traded the stored corn for all the land in Egypt and Canaan, except the land of the priest. Vs. 18-23

    D. Joseph traded the stored corn for a fifth part of the harvest of their corps. Vs. 24-26

    E. At he end of the famine, Pharaoh owned all the livestock, land, and would receive a fifth part of the harvest of the people of Egypt and Canaan.

IV. Israel dwelt in Goshen, grew and multiplied exceedingly. Vs. 27

V. Israel lived in the land of Egypt for 17 years. Vs. 28

    A. Israel lives to be 147 years old.

VI. Joseph promises to bury Israel with his fathers in Canaan. Vs. 29-31
