1 Samuel 9


I. The donkeys of Kish were lost. Vs. 1-3

    A. Kish sends his son, Saul, and a servant to find the donkeys. Vs. 3

II. Saul and the servant searches for the donkeys. Vs. 4-5

III. They go to Samuel for advice on how to find the donkeys. Vs. 6-14

    A. The servant suggests that they go to Prophet, Samuel. Vs. 6

    B. Saul states that they need to take a present for the Prophet. Vs. 7-10

    C. Young maiden tell them where they can find the Prophet. Vs. 11-14

IV. Samuel invites Saul to go with him to the high place. Vs. 15-27

    A. God told Samuel that he would meet the man he wanted for king. Vs. 15-17

    B. When Samuel saw Saul, God told him this is the one. Vs. 17

    C. Samuel invites Saul to go with him to the high place. Vs. 18-19

    D. Samuel tells Saul the donkeys have been found. Vs. 20

    E. Samuel tells Saul that he is to be the king of Israel. Vs. 20-27
