2 Thessalonians 3

I. Pray for those who preach the word. Vs. 1-2, Luke 10:2

    A. Pray that the Word of the Lord may have free course. Vs. 1, Ephesians 6:19-20

    B. Pray that the Word of the Lord may be glorified. Vs. 1, Acts 13:48

    C. Pray that they may be delivered from unreasonable and wicked men. Vs. 2, Acts 13:45, 2 Corinthians 4:3-4

    D. All men have not faith. Vs. 2, Romans 3:23, Romans 10:16, Romans 11:32, 2 Corinthians 4:3-4, 1 Corinthians 15:34, Mark 16:15

II. The Lord is faithful. Vs. 3

    A. The Lord shall stablish you. Vs. 3

    B. The Lord shall keep you from evil. Vs. 3, 1 Corinthians 10:13, Matthew 6:13

III. Have confidence in the Lord to help others. Vs. 4, Philippians 1:6

IV. Let the Lord direct your heart. Vs. 5, Proverbs 3:6, Jeremiah 10:23

    A. Into the love of God. Vs. 5, 1 Corinthians 8:3, 1 John 4:7-8

    B. Into the patient waiting for Christ. Vs. 5, Psalm 130:6, Titus 2:13

V. Withdraw yourself from every brother that walketh disorderly. Vs. 6-15

    A. Those that walk not after the traditions from the word. Vs. 6, Romans 16:17, 1 Corinthians 5:11-13, 2 John 1:9-11

    B. Follow the teachings of the word. Vs. 7

    C. You were taught not to be chargeable to any one. Vs. 8-9

    D. If any man would not work, neither should he eat. Vs. 10

    E. There are some who will not work, but are busybodies. Vs. 11

    F. With quietness you are to work, and eat your own bread. Vs. 12, Ephesians 4:28

    G. Be not weary in well doing. Vs. 13, Isaiah 40:30-31, Galatians 6:9-10

    H. Do not keep company with any one that disobeys the word. Vs. 14

       1. Yet count him not as an enemy, but admonish him as a brother. Vs. 15, Galatians 6:1, 1 Thessalonians 5:14, Jude 1:22-23, James 5:19-20
