Mystery of the Faith Lesson 11
Judgment Seat of Christ
There were things taught about
this "faith" which they did not understand (a "mystery").
They did not understand (a "mystery") that Jesus would come, be
born of a virgin, but would be rejected, crucified, buried, and raised the
third day. They did not understand (a "mystery") that Jesus
would ascend to heaven and return at a later time to set up his political
kingdom as promised to Abraham.
When Jesus comes at the
Rapture all of the saved will appear before the judgment seat of Christ.
This is not a judgment for salvation, but a judgment of works for
rewards.
1. When
a person tells someone about Jesus, then they are laying a for that person .
(1 Corinthians 3:10 According to the grace of God which is given unto me, as a
wise masterbuilder, I have laid the foundation, and another buildeth thereon.
But let every man take heed how he buildeth thereupon.)
