Start a Bible Class

How many do you need to have for a Bible Class?

1. One person in a class is just as important as two or more.

2. Start with one or more and encourage the class to grow by inviting their friends.

Where to have a Bible Class?

1. Home Bible Class

    A. In your home or friends' home.

2. Rest Home Bible Class.

    A. Get permission from the director of the Rest Home.

3. Community Bible Class.

    A. Get permission to use a community building.

    B. Find a building that the owner will let you use or rent.

4. Church starter Bible Class.

    A. Survey a community to see if there is any interest in having a church.

    B. Start a Bible Class in a home, community building, school room or building in that location.

    C. After the attendance of the Bible Class has increased then talk about organizing into a church.

       1) Talk to the leaders of the church denomination you want to be in and see what their requirements are.

       2) Find a church that will sponsor you.

5. Jail Bible Class.

    A. Get permission from the jailer.

6. Bible Class in Churches and or Church schools.

    A. Get permission from the Pastor or director of the school.

7. Bible Class in any place you can get a group together.

1. Pray about what God would have you to do.

* You may make changes to the printed material as the Holy Spirit leads you. Please let your students know the changes you have made.

3. Select a place to meet.

    A. Get permission if necessary.

    B. Set up tables and chairs as needed.

4. How to use a video.

    A. You can show a video on a computer to a small group or attach a digital projector to your computer and project the video on a wall or screen to a large group.

    B. You must have Internet hookup to your computer to show a video.

    C. Or you can order a free DVD to be used on a computer or DVD player with a TV in your class.

    D. As you play the video, use the pause button to stop the video and answer questions or talk about a point made in the video or interpret what was said on the video.

    E. The video that has only the PowerPoint visible, you may turn off the sound and use your own comments as you go through the video.

5. Set a date and time for the Bible Study.

6. Invite your friends and family.

7. Start and stop on time with prayer.
