Introduction 1
about the Tabernacle
The Tabernacle was a witness of Jesus. "Our fathers had the tabernacle of witness in the wilderness, as he had appointed speaking unto Moses that he should make it according to the fashion that he had seen." Acts 7:44
The Tabernacle was the center of the camp of the 12 Tribes of Israel. Each Tribe would pitch their camp in relation to the Tabernacle.
God would lead the Israelites by a cloud by day and a pillar of fire by night.
Exodus 13:21
Numbers 9:15-23
Exodus 40:38
When the cloud stood still, the first thing they would do, would be to clear a space of 150 feet by 75 feet. Exodus 27:9-18 Then they would build a fence around the area with only one gate. The fence would be 7 feet and 6 inches high. This would become the court for the Tabernacle.
