I. Sarah’s age and death. Genesis 23:1-2

A. Sarah was 127 when she died.

B. Sarah died in Kirjatharba, which is Hebron.

II. Abraham purchases the cave of Machpelah for a burial place. Genesis 23:3-18

A. Abraham bought the land and cave for 400 shekels of silver. Genesis 23:14-16

III. Abraham buried Sarah in the cave of Machpelah which is in Hebron. Genesis 23:19-20
