1 Samuel 6

I. The Ark was in the country of the Philistines seven months. Vs. 1

II. The Ark was to be sent back to Israel. Vs. 2-3

A. With a chest of five golden emerods and five golden mice. Vs. 3-8 B. On a new cart drawn by two untamed cows. Vs. 7

III. Did the God of Israel cause all the problems or did it just happen by chance?

A. If the cows take the Ark by the way to Bethshemesh, then it was the God of Israel who cause all their problems, but if not then it was by chance. Vs. 9

B. The cows took the Ark straight to Bethshemesh. Vs. 10-12

IV. The people of Bethshemesh rejoiced to get the Ark back. Vs. 13-18

V. God destroyed 50,070 people because they looked into the Ark. Vs. 19-20

VI. They asked the people of Kirjathjearim to come and get the Ark. Vs. 21
