I. Is-bosheth murdered by two of his captains. Vs. 1-8

A. Mephibosheth, a lame man, is the son of Jonathan. Vs. 4

B. Is-bosheth is murdered by two of his captains, Rechab and Baanah. Vs. 5-8

1. They take the head of Is-bosheth to David. Vs. 8

II. David puts the murderers to death. Vs. 9-12
