I. David brings the ark. Vs. 1-11
A. David takes 30,000 men to the house of Abinadab in Gibeah to get the Ark. Vs. 1-2 B. They place the Ark on a new cart driven by Uzzah and Ahio. Vs.3 C. Ahio walked before the cart. Vs. 4 D. David and others played different instruments; Harps, psalteries, timbrels, cornets and cymbals. Vs. 5 E. Uzzah put his hand on the Ark to keep it from falling off the cart at Nachon’s threshing floor. Vs. 6 F. God smote Uzzah, and he died by the Ark. Vs. 7 G. David became afraid of the Lord and called the place Perz-uzzah. Vs. 8-9 H. David put the ark in the house of Obed-edom where it stayed for three months. Vs. 10-11 II. The ark brought to Zion. Vs. 12-19 A. David had some men to carry the Ark to the city of David, after God had blessed the house of Obed-edom. Vs. 12-13 B. There was shouting and the sound of the trumpet. David, girded with a linen ephod, danced in the street with joy unto the Lord. Vs. 14-16 C. They put the Ark in a tabernacle (tent). Vs. 17 D. David offered burnt offerings and peace offerings before the Lord. Vs. 17 E. David blessed the people and gave gifts. Vs. 18-19 III. David reproves Michal. Vs. 20-23 A. Michal accused David of acting as a vain person by shamelessly uncovering himself before the people. Vs. 20-22 B. Michal became barren until the day of her death. Vs. 23
