Zechariah 9-14

I. Introduction
    A. The Old Testament Prophets thought the 1st coming of Christ and the 1,000 years reign of Christ was at the same time.
       1. Although they prophesied about the events that would happen between the 1st Coming and 1,000 years reign of Christ.
          a) Yet they did not understand about the Church Age, Rapture, Tribulation Period and the 2nd Coming of Christ.
II. Messages Concerning the Messiah. Zechariah 9:1-14:21
    A. The Rejection of the Messiah. Zechariah 9:1-11:17
       1. The judgment on the neighboring nations. Zechariah 9:1-8
       2. The triumphant arrival of the Lord. Zechariah 9:9; John 12:12-15
       3. The announcement of the Lord’s Kingdom. Zechariah 9:10– 17
       4. The Lord’s redemption of Israel. Zechariah 10:1-12
          a) God provides a Corner-Stone, Nail and King. Zechariah 10:4; Colossians 2:13-14
       5. Israel’s rejection of the Good Shepherd. Zechariah 11:1-14
          a) Messiah betrayed for 30 pieces of silver. Zechariah 11:12-13; Matthew 26:15; 27:1-3
       6. Israel’s acceptance of the worthless shepherd. Zechariah 11:15-17
    B. The Final Establishment of the Lord’s Kingdom. Zechariah 12:1-14:21
       1. The triumph and conversion of Israel. Zechariah 12:1 - 13:6
          a) Spirit of Grace. Zechariah 12:10
          b) They pierced His side. Zechariah 12:10; John 19:34
   <       c) What are these wounds in thine hands? Zechariah 13:6
             1) Jesus was crucified by Israel. John 20:25
       2. The enthronement of Israel’s rejected King. Zechariah 13:7-14:21
          a) Israel will be spared. Zechariah 13:7-14:2
          b) Second Coming of Christ and the battle of Armageddon. Zechariah 14:3; Revelation 19:11-17
          c) Judgment of Nations at Mount of Olives. Zechariah 14:4-5; Matthew 25:31-46
          d) The 1,000 years reign of Christ. Zechariah 14:6
          e) The results of the nuclear war when Russia invades Israel at the time of the Rapture. Zechariah 14:12-15
          f) The final feast of tabernacles, 1,000 years reign of Christ. Zechariah 14:16-21
